The Opportunity
Our ideal partners
You don’t need any formal drama training or a background in professional teaching or coaching to join us, though that would be a big advantage, of course. What is most important to us is that you have energy, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for working with young people.
For us, a great addition to the Big Mouth Theatre franchise family would:
Have at least some experience working with children
Perhaps you’re someone who has worked in schools, led group activities before, or worked in holiday clubs or summer camps. That can be either voluntary or paid, as long as you’re confident and comfortable in a room full of kids.
Be passionate about drama, stories, and the power of expression
If you love the English language, enjoy being creative, and see the value of performance as a life skill, this could be the perfect way for you to make a living from your passion.
Share our values and believe in what we do
Big Mouth Theatre is all about helping children find their voice, build confidence, and have fun while doing it, all in an inclusive and non-competitive environment where everyone is welcome.
Be ready to work hard
We can give you everything you need to succeed, but you still need to be committed to putting in the time to make the most of everything this opportunity can offer you.
Not be afraid to be a bit silly sometimes!
Theatre is fun! When you’re enjoying yourself, the kids pick up on it, and that’s when the magic happens.
So, if you have that special spark, and are reading this thinking “That sounds like me!”, we would love to hear from you.
